owney is a once in a lifetime dog – he’s my personal buddha. we rescued him from a crappy situation – he had been purchased as a puppy to be breeding stock but developed an underbite and his owner had no use for him. fortunately the guy contacted me and asked me to take him – done deal. he is truly one of the greatest beings - i don’t say this in a “he’s my favorite dog” kind of way – i say this in an “i aspire to be like him” kind of way. he just oozes peace and love and is as grounded and even-keeled as one can get. he is a true inspiration…he is so adored! (he gets extra bonus points for his name rhyming with baloney- that's a rarity)!
