dave & i try very hard to not let carly out of our sight for more than 20-30 seconds but apparently we both lapsed this morning. i walked into the office and found carly playing with a new toy. if you can't make it out it's the blade to our food processor - our very rarely used food processor with a very sharp blade. i'm grateful she didn't cut her tongue off since the tongue is rife with blood vessels and we just got new carpet in the office. ...

the day has come for dooley to surrender his manhood as he's currently at the vet awaiting his neuter surgery. if you have a second and can send well wishes dooley's way they would be much appreciated. murray is really looking forward to no longer being an unwilling participant in the humpty dance!
(it should be noted that i asked dave for some pictures of dooley to post with this entry and this is what he gave me...i strongly object to three pics of me)

one of my gloves just received early retirement and is residing somewhere warm and snuggly in carly’s innards. it received this gift on the coldest day of the year... that carly is a real giver (and taketh awayer)....
