Engineered Release - Not Accidental Loss
Our breakaway collar features a stitched-in Velcro® closure panel that allows adjustable release tension.
That means:
- It stays secure during regular movement
- It releases under meaningful pressure
- You can adjust the tension for your dog’s size and strength
- It’s far less likely to pop open during normal play
Unlike flimsy snap-apart designs, our system creates controlled resistance before release.

- Fit snugly: two fingers between collar and neck
- Engage both D-rings for leash walking
- Do not use as a tie-out collar
- Check Velcro® tension periodically

What makes this different from a quick-release buckle?
A quick-release buckle is manually opened while a breakaway collar is pressure-sensitive and releases automatically under strain.
