This harness was exactly what my pit bull and I were looking for. It is strong enough to hold her (she's 70lbs+) but soft enough to not irritate her. It's a simple no fuss harness that's also easy to wear.

I really loved these but one of my dogs chewed right through hers the very first time she wore it. This was very disappointing because she only had it on for a short while. We’ve had others that she has never been able to chew through. Love the concept just not durable enough for our needs. 😢



earthdog response: we're sorry for your experience. properly fitted harness is very difficult for a dog to chew so the fit might be something to look at. we have yet to find a material that a dog can't chew through if given the opportunity. that said, under normal use hemp is very durable and reliable. if you'd like to send us a photo of the harness we can see if we can repair it for you.

Love the harness but disappointed in the color. The green is very dark, nothing like the picture.

We were on a Tangerine kick when I purchased this harness about 10 years ago. It still looks perfect...and is just so much more comfortable for my Honey girl to wear than other materials that harnesses are made out of. Granted, she's usually naked (meaning no harness) - but when she DOES wear a harness there's no substitute for a comfy Earthdog hemp harness! I adore this color, and when you combine that and all the other features, this is the only harness we've ever needed or wanted. We've never had to wash it, but I have washed other solid hemp products from Earthdog (also in Tangerine, of course) and they remain like new! THANK YOU Earthdog!
