The delightful Ms N has been wearing Seamus-1 since she was a puppy. Very fashionable and goes well with her coat. She looks stunning in it. However, a few rolls in decomp and we got The Big Stink. And while the collar is sturdy in the wash, the stink lingers. So I keep buying new collars. Hence, the 4 stars rather than 5.

We love Earthdog!!! From the environmentally friendly materials to the fun designs I can't find a better collar anywhere. I would love to see some new designs, but we just ordered the Peace collar and are enjoying our pups new "look" :) She seems to love it too and always comes back to get her collar put on after a bath. I was so pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the colors were when we received our collars. They’re super well made and for whatever reason, they don’t seem to get as dog stinky as collars we’ve had in the past. We are DEFINITELY Earthdog people for life!

<p>Beautiful well made collar. I had an extra small for my puppy, and wanted the small as he is growing. The size difference is way more than I expected. I figured there would be a more gradual increase in size from XS to S. This is way too large for my puppy. Not even sure it will be ok when he is full grown.</p><p><strong>response from earthdog</strong><strong>:</strong> Thank you for your review. We have 4 patterns that will be 3/4” wide in size small which may be a better match for your dog and a better transition from the x-small collar (likely more of what you were expecting). The patterns are Indi, Murray, Sage and Wilson.<br></p>

I've got a 65lb dog with a really large, strong neck & front end. Unfortunately, he also suffers from hives around his neck, where is collar sits. When he doesn't wear a collar, the rash goes away. I've tried at least 4 different types of collars, but the rash always reappears, so I finally tried a hemp collar. It's the first collar that he's worn that hasn't resulted in the rash and it's soft and much more comfortable than a stiff nylon collar. It's also strong enough that I don't have to worry about it breaking if he happens to see a squirrel that he thinks is antagonizing him on our daily walks.
