My dog is allergic to nickel, so it is very difficult to find nickel free fittings on dog products. Earthdog offered to custom a collar for me, and my dog has been wearing it for over a month now. No problems at all, and the collar is a nice green hemp version of the solid hemp adjustable collars featured on this website. Good customer service and a nice looking durable collar too. I would definitely buy another.

Unfortunately this collar didn't hold up under normal use, for more than a year. From the sides it just started falling apart. Cannot recommend.

I really liked this collar at first. It was a pretty pink for my Nellie and love the more sustainable material. I noted that it was much thinner and perhaps less well made than another hemp collar I purchased for my older dog but it was otherwise fine. After just a week, the collar had lots of snags from my dog playing with other dogs. Now after about 6 months, the collar is starting to unravel. I’ve never had a collar fall apart like this. Nellie lives a very active life with lots of play time, running through the woods, and playing with other dogs. I suppose this collar just isn’t up to the task.

Those are made from layered hemp canvas which will hold up better to a playing dog’s teeth and pulling. Please get in touch if you’d like to give us another try.

I have a bull terrier/basset mix and he is very much prone to allergies. He developed a rash under his former collar. I looked into hemp products and went for it. His rash is now becoming a thing of his itchy past!

The quality is great and is naturally soft so that your dog doesn't have to break in a stiff collar.

Highly recommended!
