I love the option of a martingale with a buckle collar. All of our dogs have had the original martingale collar. If you've purchased the OG, make sure to order up a size. They are not equivalent in size and I need to order another size.

I’m a big fan of martingale collars, but I always want ones with buckles; so that, they are easy to take off. I first bought one of these a couple years ago for my hound dog, and I absolutely love it. It’s holding up so well!



I recently bought another one for my puppy. At first, there weren’t any patterns that I wanted for him; so, I ended up buying a similarly priced buckle martingale, and it’s very low quality compared to Earth Dog buckle martingales. I ended up looking again here and saw the perfect pattern; so, I grabbed him one with a matching leash. They look beautiful with his black coat, and they’re so much better quality than the previous one I purchased from another company. The metal pieces are heavy and not some cheap materials, the collar doesn’t loosen randomly and stays exactly at the place you adjust it, there’s no cheap powder coating on the metal that just scratches, and the buckle will hold even if you have a crazy puppy trying to sprint away and play. And what’s even more awesome is that these collars are made with hemp; I love sustainable and good for the planet products, especially high quality and affordable ones!
