solid hemp leashes

I love the earthdog hemp leash. The most important feature that drew me to earthdog's leash was SAFETY: the reliable buckle has never failed to grip the ring on her collar or Gentle Leader or earthdog harness. Have had several dogs over the decades. The only comfortable leash has been earthdog's hemp leash. It is strong and would last forever if she didn't bite it every now and then. Even with a snag, it doesn't lose its use or value...still as strong as ever. I do replace it once a year (it's a great gift) and keep the old as backup.

I LOVE EarthDog hemp leashes. I have psoriatic arthritis and my hands are very tender. Hemp leashes are SO much more comfortable than nylon. PLUS, I feel so much better about putting hemp against my dogs skin (collar) too.

Disappointed in this particular leash- tore apart in less than a year of use and at $30 I am not really inclined to replace it. That being said, the decorative leash and 2 collars I purchased at the same time are holding up well.

So comfortable to hold. The snap takes some getting used to because it works like a carabiner, so you simply push it into the d ring on your dogs collar. My only complaint is that its a bit bulky for my smaller dogs, wish it came in a more petite size but that is just a minor thing. The colors are vibrant and rich and it almost feels like felted wool in your hand.

My two Bostons have been using EarthDog collars and leashes for over ten years and they just don't wear out! Wanting a change, I purchased a new 4' leash recently and am pleasantly surprised by the softness of the hemp material. There is no better product on the market.
