earthdog decorative hemp martingale collars feature triple-layer, 100% hemp canvas construction and distinctive, earthdog-style trims. our decorative collars can be machine washed and dried, are hypoallergenic and available in 23 styles.

martingale collars are a popular and effective choice for helping maintain control of your dog while leash walking. they can also be essential for dogs who tend to slip out of their collar. the small loop will tighten with tension, providing a safe, non-choking walking experience for your dog when adjusted correctly. the proper resting adjustment should be tight enough to allow the loop to close on your dog's neck without constricting the throat but not so loose that the loop hangs freely.

we also offer a martingale relooping program to extend the life of your martingale collars for dogs.

Decorative martingales, I've purchased many of these with matching leashes over the years for multiple family additions and multiple breeds, the latest being 2 Airedale terriers notorious for slipping out of regular collars and giving us the slip.

These are amazing, love the colours, love that they're hemp and healthy for skin, extremely durable, wash fabulous. My favourite always seems to be the stars. Thank you again for creating such a great product.

We love these collars for our "kids". Our boy Piper has been wearing earthdog collars for a while and we love that they do not smell from his very active lifestyle. His previous collars would get F-U-N-K-Y from all of his playing, swimming, etc. We adopted his sister, Honey, in August and this is her second earthdog collar. These collars are super well-made and hold up to a lot of use (these kids run or walk an average of 3 miles a day). We love the beautiful prints these collars come in and Mom has a lot of fun picking from the different designs. Thanks very much for a GREAT dog product (one of the best that we know and these are certainly THE best collars...we have tried them all at this point)!!!!

No complaints. Pete likes it. It has no clip to open it, it's a slip over the head, which makes it awkward to put on. But it's very pretty on.
