by | Saturday, July 3, 2010 |

i know i've been light on the posting of late but at this point in the summer the dogs do little interesting beyond panting and sleeping, although i have managed to capture benny & carly in action a few times... hope you're all enjoying your summer and having a wonderful holiday weekend. ...

crazy people knocking

we just had someone leave a message at earthdog because they had seen our "petfinder" page. from the message it seems that our "petfinder" page is actually the our crew page where we have pics & blurbs about our dogs (clearly marked as our dogs). anywho, she is apparently very interested in adopting carly because she's had terriers before?? she lives on a very large houseboat and is looking for a dog she can walk with every day. i briefly considered sending the 110-lb feral beast to the woman...

back in the saddle

fortunately for me nature provided some inspiration with which to ease back into blogging. last weekend we had the largest snowstorm we've seen in nashville in the 15 years we've been here. it was a fantastic weekend of being snowed in together and that along with the beautiful white blanket over everything (along with the silence) did my heart good. here are a few snippets for your enjoyment: indi relished being covered in snow we got a good bit of snow but the tail end was sleet so we ended...

wash-n-wear

carly has a new habit which is really putting a crimp in reilley’s red ball chasing as well as resulting in repercussions to my tuckus. carly has always played defense when reilley is chasing balls but she has significantly upped the ante recently in which she now nips at him and goes for his ankles. the other day reilley had had enough and turned around to wallop carly at the exact moment i was trying to curtail her and he ended up making contact with my butt. i didn’t really feel...

permanence

i think buddha hit on something when he said nothing is permanent. our pack number which we thought was a firm 14 is apparently firm like an old piece of celery

• we believe in rescue dogs and spay + neuter programs
• we believe in hemp, conservation, and the pursuit of lessening our footprint on the earth
• we believe in the commitment, love and boundless spirit of dogs
